We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst to support a leading biotech manufacturing company. The successful candidate will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of various manufacturing systems, including ERP, MES, LIMS, BMS, printers, and other essential technologies.

We are seeking candidates who are currently residing in North Carolina, as this position requires on-site work. Please note that no travel or relocation expenses will be provided for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes, identify system requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for manufacturing systems, including LIMS, BMS, and printers, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, system configurations, and integrations to increase efficiency and reliability.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, user guides, and business processes.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to manage upgrades, support issues, and maintenance activities.
  • Assist in system validation, testing, and commissioning processes in compliance with biotech manufacturing standards.
  • Act as a liaison between IT and manufacturing teams, ensuring alignment of business objectives with IT solutions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing systems such as ERP, MES, LIMS, BMS, and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of GxP regulations and validation processes in a biotech environment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting IT systems in manufacturing settings.
  • Familiarity with system integrations and automation in manufacturing environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
