We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Administrator to support critical IT/OT infrastructure in a regulated Life Sciences environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing systems in compliance with GMP standards, and a strong foundation in computer systems, network administration, and operational technologies. Previous experience supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Data Historian platforms is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for PI (Data Historian) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) platforms.

  • Perform user system access management, security reviews, and desktop client tools support.

  • Collaborate with end users to gather necessary information and route complex incidents to the appropriate support teams.

  • Participate in PCS patching activities and coordinate scheduled out-of-hours work.

  • Ensure compliance with GMP/GxP and site procedures for change control, access management, and system documentation.

  • Contribute to daily status meetings and ensure timely resolution and communication of service requests.

  • Participate in monthly client meetings to review SLA adherence, ticket volumes, and escalation handling.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a System Administrator in a regulated environment (Life Sciences preferred).

  • Experience in managing IT infrastructure, application support, and access controls.

  • Familiarity with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and basic networking.

  • Excellent customer service, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

  • Must currently reside in Puerto Rico.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience supporting PI (AVEVA) and/or MES platforms (e.g., PAS-X, Syncade).

  • Exposure to IT/OT support environments, particularly in manufacturing systems.

  • Understanding of L1/L2 application support structures and ticketing systems.

  • Experience working in on-call rotations and responding to incidents affecting manufacturing operations.

  • Knowledge of PCS (Process Control Systems) and patching coordination.
