Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemist for a contract basis for a duration of 3 to 6 months. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in analytical chemistry, laboratory operations, and regulatory compliance. This role requires proficiency in method development, validation, and laboratory investigations, as well as familiarity with USP/EP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analytical testing using Empower 3 software and ensure data integrity.
- Manage and maintain Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for accurate sample tracking and reporting.
- Perform laboratory investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Execute method transfers and validations in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Apply USP/EP methodologies to ensure compliance with pharmaceutical standards.
- Interpret analytical results and prepare detailed technical reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality control and assurance processes.
Competencies and Skills:
- Active Puerto Rico (PR) Chemist License.
- Proficiency in Empower 3 software for chromatography data management.
- Hands-on experience with LIMS for sample and data management.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory investigations and root cause analysis.
- Expertise in method transfers and validations.
- In-depth understanding of USP/EP guidelines and compliance standards.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
- Senior-level experience with 5 to 8 years in an analytical chemistry or quality control laboratory setting.
Assignment Duration:
- This is a contract role with an expected duration of 3 to 6 months.
