Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Loss Prevention and Quality Control Consultant to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of our loss prevention and quality control strategy across multiple warehouse facilities in Puerto Rico. This role will focus on minimizing inventory losses, optimizing quality control processes for inbound and outbound products, and ensuring that operational protocols align with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive loss prevention strategy to mitigate inventory shrinkage and losses within the warehouse, dispatch, and receiving operations.
  • Establish, monitor, and continuously improve quality control procedures for both incoming and outgoing goods to ensure product integrity and compliance with company standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify areas prone to shrinkage, damage, or other forms of loss and recommend actionable solutions across different warehouse locations.
  • Design and enforce standardized processes and training programs to support warehouse personnel in executing loss prevention and quality control best practices.
  • Regularly visit multiple warehouse facilities across Puerto Rico to oversee and audit the implementation of loss prevention and quality control measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics, to align strategies and optimize workflow.
  • Generate regular reports detailing performance metrics, loss incidents, and quality control compliance, providing insights and actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices in loss prevention and quality control, implementing relevant tools and methodologies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in loss prevention, quality control, or warehouse operations, with a strong understanding of warehouse dispatch and receiving processes.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Puerto Rico to different warehouse facilities.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends, conduct root-cause analysis, and develop effective strategies.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to warehouse operations.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and quality control software is a plus.

Education

Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in Business Administration.
